As a Non-Clinician, my favorite part of being a CMSA Member is the wonderful people I have met as well as all the great memories we have shared.

I want to extend my greetings to ALL CMSA members and want to encourage non-members to join CMSA and participate in your local chapter(s).  I want to make sure that the non-clinical healthcare providers know that we are welcomed by CMSA and can join CMSA and make a difference in our community.

I got involved very early in my career, (1997), as an Account Executive for a Home Infusion provider. I started participating in the local chapter events in NJ and became a chapter member.  I have had the pleasure of working with many healthcare professionals and built many personal relationships during my journey at CMSA.  These relationships were built on trust and knowing that the patients we were working with were going to be taken care of safely in their next level of care, the patients’ home.

Being a CMSA member has certainly helped, not only my career but also my wish of “paying it forward” through volunteering and mentoring the many participants of the CMSA chapter events.

I advanced rather quickly in the industry and remained engaged as a CMSA Member locally and nationally. I was elected to serve on the National Board of Directors, (June 2013 – June 2016) as well as the National Treasurer (June 2017 – 2020).  It has been a great experience for me personally as well as professionally.

I remain very active in both the NYC and Central NJ Chapters as the treasurer as well as being the lead in the CMSA Northeastern Coalition and want to invite all my colleagues to join me make a difference in our industry.

I want to thank CMSA and all the members for making me a better Executive in the Healthcare Arena and a better person! -  Thank you!
