Career & Knowledge Pathways (CKP)
Education is a cornerstone of the value CMSA provides. We are proud to offer the newly imagined Career & Knowledge Pathways, a set of six educational offerings which provide comprehensive continuing education for any level of case manager, in any practice setting. Use these tools to enhance and extend your career and provide the help you need for growth in all aspects of case management.
These six pathways include:

- commit Comprehensive Motivational Interviewing Training
One of our newest educational offerings is comMIt, a comprehensive motivational interviewing training which offers a natural augmentation of the motivational interviewing we cover in ICM. Currently, this training offers 8 CE credits for dietitians, nurses, physicians and social workers; through this partnership, CMSA also offers CCM hours (pending approval), at a low cost.
- Standards of Professional Case Management Practice Program
The Standards of Professional Case Management Practice Program offers a comprehensive review of CMSA’s 2016 Standards of Practice for Case Management. This online course is designed to enhance this understanding by expanding on these common principles and to offers a consistent educational opportunity for case managers, whether new to the industry or in need of eliminating gaps in understanding and concepts within organizational staff.
