Little Rock, AR - The Case Management Society of America (CMSA) will host its 16th Annual Conference & Expo in Fort Worth/Grapevine, Texas, at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, June 13-17, 2006. It is anticipated that close to 2,500 integrated care/case management professionals from diverse backgrounds, including health coaching, disease management, rehabilitation, insurance, social work, behavioral health, and many other areas of expertise will converge for the five-day program. Four inspiring keynotes will be featured along with a jam-packed schedule of educational programs.
One Purpose, Many Paths - New Paradigms in Case Management, is the theme of TEXAS 2006, reflecting the industry's strong focus on the varied strategies within care/case management to improve the quality and cost efficiency of healthcare. It also indicates the industry's need to recreate itself and its mission, vision, and educational approach, and to lead the transition to the next generation of integrated care management.

Other educational opportunities include six pre-conference workshops presented in CMSA's Institute for Learning and more than 30 sessions, 25 symposia, and the state-of-the-art Expo featuring 250 exhibitors. Supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Pfizer, Inc., the Case Management Adherence Guidelines Seminars I and II will explore medication non-adherence and CM interventions and tools for assessment of medication adherence and readiness for change.
Two Hospital Business Symposia will cover the topics Continuum of Care Case Management & Technology and Hospital CMs & Revenue Cycle Management: Using Technology to Improve Acute Care Transition & Reduce LOS. Focus will be on current and future continuum of care/case management demonstration projects, real world examples of hospital successes, and technology necessary to manage patients along the continuum.
