January 01,2009 CMSA's New Fiscal Period

Beginning in January 2009, CMSA’s Fiscal Period will become January thru December, instead of our current Fiscal Period of September thru August. Because all of the chapters are under our IRS Group Exemption, each chapter must also adjust their Fiscal Period to the calendar year.

October 23,2008 Multistate Nursing Licensure

Nurse licensure is regulated on a state-by-state basis with State Boards of Nursing requiring nurse case managers to be licensed within the states where patients reside. Through the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, many states have entered into a compact to recognize other states’ licensing of nurses.
