Susan Lazarus             Writer/Staff Voice Newspaper Ft Lauderdale, FL             Lazarus, Susan, MS, CCM, CDMS, CRC, CVE, is a rehabilitation counselor/consultant in the South Florida area. Ms. Lazarus has been practicing in both the nonprofit and private sector in rehabilitation since 1978 and has been self-employed since 1990. She holds certifications as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Vocational Evaluator, Certified Disability Management Specialist, and Certified Case Manager. Her private practice includes providing vocational assessments for attorneys and insurance companies for workers compensation and marital dispute cases, expert witness services, case management, vocational counseling, and disability management services to employers In addition, she currently testifies as a Social Security vocational expert and holds a license to provide vocational rehabilitation services to Federal employees and those covered under the Longshore and Harbor Worker’s Act. She is also providing services to Ticket To Work candidates. Susan Lazarus serves on the Brain Injury of Florida Board of Directors and is Secretary for the Southeast Chapter of IARP, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
