Huffstutter, Joseph E., MD, received his MD degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis. Dr. Huffstutter practices internal medicine and rheumatology and has been in practice with Arthritis Associates in Chattanooga since completing his rheumatology fellowship in 1984. In addition to serving as clinical faculty for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he has served on numerous committees and participated in over 20 clinical trials. Current research interests include rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma and systemic lupus erythematosus. He is currently vice president of the Tennessee State Rheumatology Society. He is the state representative to the Medicare Committee on care delivery. Hobbies include running, snow skiing and travel.
