Sandra Lombardi, RN             Clinical Care Coordinator, Pulmonary Hypertension Program UCSA Encinitas, CA             Lombardi, Sandra, RN has over 25 years experience in pulmonary and critical care, the last 15 years focusing on pulmonary hypertension. She worked for Accredo Health Services where she was based in So. California teaching PAH patients Flolan and Remodulin home therapy. For the past 6 years, Sandra has been the Clinical Care Coordinator for the UCSD Pulmonary Hypertension Program, a national referral center and internationally recognized as a center of excellence in the diagnosis and management of adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension. She has been involved with direct patient management of PAH patients. A large part of her job is dealing with case managers and insurance companies getting approval for PAH medications. Sandra is the sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials involving treatment of PAH and the impact of the disease on the patient and family.
