McBride, Keith, MPT, DPT is the Director of Clinical Support of Bioness, Inc. Dr. McBride has worked in a variety of clinical settings for over 9 years with a focus on Neuro rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. Currently, he is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Maryland and received his Doctoral Degree there in May of 2006. Dr. McBride served for 5 years as a Research Fellow at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. His research efforts included interventional studies in stroke, spinal cord injury, and geriatric hip fracture. He also served as a research assistant for studies involving development of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) protocols, stroke measurement/reliability, and electrophysiology. He has co-authored several published manuscripts involving functional electrical stimulation in persons with stroke and spinal cord injury, in addition to teaching in the areas of electrotherapy, biomechanics, human anatomy and pathokinesiology. Dr. Mc Bride has presented internationally, including AOPA, AOTA, APTA, and IFESS and taught continuing education courses on topics ranging from stroke rehabilitation to pathokinesiology of running injuries.
