Maria E. Seavey, RN, BSN, CCRN, has been a weekend and float Case Manager, troubleshooting complicated discharge needs. Maria is currently an Emergency Room Case Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team developing appropriate discharge plans. Maria brings more than 27 years’ clinical and educational experience during her employment at Massachusetts General Hospital as a staff nurse, clinical educator, and case manager. Maria had been Secretary of the Greater Boston Chapter—ACCN, and coordinated and implemented CCRN programs.  Maria had served and co-chaired the Case Management Advisory Board representing her colleagues.
