Brooke Wollenberg, MBA, is Director of the Patient Flow Department at the Hospital of the University of PA. Under her leadership, the Patient Flow Department facilitates continuous improvement in the processes and technology that impact inpatient flow. Her efforts have resulted in marked improvements in measures of institutional efficiency.

Prior to her current directorship, Wollenberg was the Administrative Fellow for the University of PA Health System (UPHS), during which time she led health system and hospital-wide initiatives under the mentorship of health system executives. While recently focused on inpatient operations, Wollenberg’s 11-year career at UPHS has included outpatient practice management and business administration within the Clinical Practices of the University of PA.

She earned her BA from Haverford College in May, 1995, and her MBA in Health and Medical Services Administration from Widener University in December, 2001. Wollenberg is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley.
