Barbara Mackey-Zeigler, BSN, RN, CCM, is a Care Counselor in the care management program at Anthem/WellPoint.  She provides telephonic assessment, health education, and behavioral change counseling to the Medicare population. Helping members to make positive healthy lifestyle changes she provides personalized education on chronic condition(s), motivation, and encouragement; and helps locate other available resources,such as community aid and assistance.

Before joining Anthem/WellPoint, Barbara worked as a case manager providing case management services through a Managed Care Organization for Bureau of Workman’s compensation (BWC). She closely followed the medical management of injured worker from the day of injury through return-to-work. Barbara holds clinical experience in Family Practice Medicine, High Risk Obstetrics and 14 years' clinical experience in Coronary Intensive Care.
