Jon Paul Veltri, MEd, CRC, CCM, CDMS, CPDM, is currently working as a Vocational Case Manager for GENEX Services, Inc., in Phoenix, AZ. He primarily does Return-To-Work services with Worker's comp, and short and long-term disability claimants. He also conducts ergonomic assessments, labor market surveys, and residual functional capacity analyses. Jon is also the current Case Management Section Representative to the National Board of Directors of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).
He previously worked as a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant for UNUM, as a RTW specialist in Short and Long-Term Disability. Prior to this he was an Acting Assistant Professor in the Counselor Education Department in the College of Education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he taught Master’s level Rehabilitation and School Counselors. He has taught several graduate level courses on case management and ethics in the practicum/internship components of the rehabilitation graduate program at UH. He’s been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 1991, with over 16 years’ experience in the field. Jon is also a Certified Case Manager, a Certified Disability Management Specialist and a Certified Professional in Disability Management. He has presented on Ethics at the International IARP Conference in 2007, at the CMSA 2007 National Conference, and at the Washington State Conference of IARP in 2007. He will also be presenting on information technology for the rehabilitation professional at the IARP National Conference in May 2008.
