This information-packed seminar will explore ways to address patient ambivalence and resistance and examine motivation concerning health-behavior change. AU MITI was developed by Drs. Bruce Berger, Bill Villaume, and Jan Kavookjian as an educational model for learning and teaching methods for improving motivational interviewing skills, assisting patients with lifestyle changes, and identifying specific interviewing tools. Participants must attend each day of this three-day course.
