Little Rock, AR - Susan A. Rogers, RN, BSN, CCM, of Overland Park, Kan., took office as the 15th President of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), an international organization of over 9,000 members and a leading non-profit 501(c)(6), multi-disciplinary professional association dedicated to the support and advancement of the care management profession. Ms. Rogersbegan her term at CMSA's 15th Annual Conference & Expo held June 21-25, in Orlando, Fla., at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.

She began as a generalist case manager working with psychiatric and medical cases then transitioned to managing workers' compensation cases, developing life-care plans, and administering product lines. She established a utilization management process for rehabilitation professionals and developed a PPO network on the provider side. While assisting the development of a hospital system's case management program, Ms. Rogers became confident in her role as a leader in the case management community. She is committed to serving the healthcare community by acting on steering committees and advisory boards.
