Section I Training: Self-Study & Webinars
Section I Training is a prerequisite for attending Section II in-person training.
Self-Study Preparatory Requirements
Please be advised, participation in this program requires a disciplined focus, not unlike an academic semester program. Successful completion of the course includes home study of the Integrated Case Management Manual, 4 webinars (see schedule below) and a face-to-face competency testing program on
December 5-6, 2011 at the CMSA National Office in Little Rock, AR. Registration for this program closes
October 5, 2011. No additional registrations will be taken after this date, as students registering beyond
October 5th will be unable to complete the program within the remaining time.
A copy of the Integrated Case Management Manual is required for completion of the course. It may be purchased at a 20% discount through the publisher's website. You will be required to read and complete the chapter tests during the course of the Section I training.

Participation in the webinars is mandatory. Webinars provide both teaching time as well as discussion time. Students are encouraged to participate in the live webinar (offered with a toll-free number). Some work schedules do not permit participation in the live webinars, therefore, a recorded version will be available for review at the students convenience.
