CMSA's Communities recently transitioned to a new, more feature-rich platform. Your help is needed to build industry content and create discussions to share industry resources and knowledge.

CMSA's online communities support professional networking across geographical boundaries. This member-only environment enables knowledge development and sharing through online collaboration tools and networks.

CMSA members can join communities, connect with their peers and industry experts, arrange meetings, participate in forums, upload documents and participate in conversations.

Personalized Profiles

Members can find a range of familiar features including walls, activity feeds and the ability to search other members using multiple criteria. Members are also able to design their own profiles and upload videos, audio, and documents.

Easy Messaging

A hallmark of any strong network is the ability of members to message one another directly. With the new CMSA Communities' built-in technology, it is possible to contact multiple members simultaneously, as well as sub-groups and individuals. An email alert will arrive in the recipient's inbox.

Groups

Within the Communities, people with similar interests and objectives may network together in their own space. Members within these groups can post topics, and message one another directly, creating a real sense of involvement and personal ownership.

Promoting Events

The Communities are an excellent platform for organizing and promoting events. Members and sub-groups have the option of making an event public or private. People can then mark their attendance, write on the wall and upload photos.

Text and Video Chat

At the bottom of the Communities' site, you'll find a chat bar which shows the members online at that moment. It's possible to chat in real time via text, but also via video without the need to download any additional software.

Forums

Members can debate hot topics in specially created forums, as well as post video and photos. Participants are notified of any new responses by email. What's more, groups are able to keep their own forums private.

Photo and Video Sharing

The Communities can display original videos and photos that Members can upload or embed content from other networks. Members can upload to multiple public or private albums.
