AU-MITI WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Motivational interviewing is a proven, patient centered counseling method for addressing patient ambivalence and resistance to change. Motivational interviewing has been shown to improve treatment adherence and outcomes, promote health behavior change, improve patient satisfaction with care and increase retention rates in complex case management.
Collaborate with other health professionals in this specialized motivational interviewing workshop designed specifically for health care professionals. Learn and apply the principles of motivational interviewing. This seminar will take you through a series of exercises, using a step-wise approach, designed to increase your understanding and application of motivational interviewing skills and principles.
