Rebecca Perez, RN, BSN, CCM
Rebecca (Becky) Perez, RN, BSN, CCM, has 16 years' clinical experience in the acute care setting with areas of practice including medical/surgical, cardiology and oncology. She began her career as a case manager late in 1992, specializing in case management of the oncology and transplant patient. In 1997, Becky took a position in St. Louis, MO, with the Carpenters' Health & Welfare Trust Funds.
Rebecca's responsibilities included administration of their extensive Care Management program, establishing and administering care management and wellness programs, supervision of utilization management by the network providers, direct contracting for health services, and utilization management of directly contracted PHO. She also helped organize coordination of services, health fairs, programs to increase health awareness, and education for union carpenters and floor layers. Her work with numerous providers, including physician groups and other providers of services, resulted in the creation of programs that delivered improved access to care and outcomes.
Rebecca has also served on several drug-testing committees for the
construction industry in both Missouri and Illinois, assisting with the policy and procedure draft of the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Drug Task Force and design and implementation of the Carpenters' District Council of Greater St. Louis & Vicinity Drug Testing Program.
Possessing a passion for integrated health management, she is a trainer for the Integrated Health Management certification program for CMSA.
Rebecca is a trainer for CMSA's Case Management Adherence Guidelines (CMAG) with a passion for patient education and advocacy. She now owns Carative Health Solutions, LLC, and consults individuals and companies on establishing care management programs.
