The resources identified on the left-hand menu are courses or supplemental educational materials which have been provided through CMSA Partnering Organizations. These offerings can help enrich and expand your professional knowledge and ongoing learning.

Current supplemental educational offerings include:

• AAPPO Bariatric Surgery Best Practice
  Free information from the American Association of PPOs on Best Practices for Assuring Successful Bariatric Surgery Outcomes
• Adherence Starts with Knowledge (ASK)
  A survey-based program designed to identify barriers to medication adherence and links to appropriate education materials.
• Athena Forum
  Accredited CE education with curriculum specifically designed using recent Needs Assessment research collected from a variety of 400 RN Case Managers nationwide.
• Essentials of Case Management
  Updated in 2009, "Essentials of Case Management" has assisted thousands of healthcare professionals at many levels including those who are preparing for the CCM exam, new to the industry, exploring more efficient models of delivery across the care continuum, and searching for effective case management tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Essential Connections
  Essential Connections® offers an array of easy-to-use communications skills and patient self-care tools to motivate behavior change and improve adherence in patients with chronic conditions.
• Hayes Training Program
  This Hayes training tool is a web-based, self-study course in applied health technology assessment.
• KCI Web-Based Modules
  KCI's Continuing Education Provider Unit currently offers web-based, accredited education courses on Wound Care, Bariatrics, and Critical Care.
• Special Delivery: Handle with Care
  Helpful information for parents of babies born early. CMSA Members may access this program and currently order educational materials for 16 programs, many available in Spanish.
