| In the wake of health care reform and quality-measured care, case managers are expected to perform their roles and responsibilities using evidence-based, decision making. Yet, the majority of case managers do not receive sufficient training in research analysis to have a comfort level in interpreting evidence. What's a p-value, and how does it relate to statistical significance in the study? What about a confidence interval? This interactive program will assist case managers in obtaining a baseline understanding of research and the types of studies which may be most useful in case management practice, including comparative effectiveness. |
