 Listen as Lee Woodruff shares her story with us on the difficulties her family faced after learning her husband, Bob (a co-anchor for ABC’s World News Tonight) had been critically injured from war. Lee will relate the intense care management it took for Bob to be rehabilitated during his lengthy, ongoing recovery; and the courage she and her children had to display every day to “keep the flame of hope alive.”
Followed by a SPECIAL ADDRESS by Lt. Gen. Charles B. Green, Air Force Surgeon General.

 Come explore the impact of Internet technologies, such as Web 2.0 and other social media tools that are empowering organizations and consumers in the digital world.
 With Hugh Lee’s and Don Dea’s expertise, they will examine how trends and technology drive online networking, engagement, and knowledge sharing and their implications to health care case managers.

 Health care is in a constant state of change. Three major forces are shaping the future of healthcare. First is the economic meltdown and its aftermath. Health care is not immune to the recent recession and the readjustment of the global economy. Second is the relentless pressure on health care to deliver value in terms of quality, reliability, and access at an affordable cost. The third major force is the once-in-a-decade movement of health reform to expand coverage to all Americans.

Upon finalization of the 2010 Program Schedule of Events, CMSA will solicit program approval from each of the certifying bodies and will release a "CE Recap" worksheet to help attendees identify which sessions will be approved for Continuing Education.
