Enlightened Advocacy

Patients are no longer passive recipients of health care. They are informed consumers of health care services.  They are being challenged by hospitals and primary care facilities to engage in their health care by preparing for their appointments with questions, to researching illnesses, treatments, medications, and the facility where they are treated. They are expected to question treatments as appropriate, speak up for themselves, and to inquire about their medication regimens.

How will you advocate this monumental shift in health care?

This event is designed to expose you to various changes and arm you with the knowledge to make change positive for you, your workplace, and most importantly your patients. The world of health care is changing. I will be at CMSA's 19th Annual Conference & Expo to network, learn, present innovative ideas, and interact with peers. Where will you be?
