This seminar is designed to help participants understand the disease management, complex case management and continuity and coordination of care standards (QI 7,QI 8 and QI 10). Faculty will discuss:

  • The distinction between and the interrelation among these standards

  • Challenges in meeting the standards

  • The requirements surrounding delegation to a disease management organization
The seminar is based on 2010 Standards and Guidelines for Health Plans and new Health Plans (HMO, POS and PPO products) and corresponding continuity and coordination of care standards (QI 8 and QI 9) in the 2008 Standards and Guidelines for Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organizations.

Seminar Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Registration is from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
