Cheryl E. Arford, RN, MHA, CCM, is a Manager-level nurse consultant with Wellspring Partners, Huron Consulting Group, specializing in the areas of Clinical Documentation Improvement, Clinical Denials, Case Management, Throughput, Observation Status, and Utilization Management.
Since 1987, she has worked in the Case Management field in the provider, payer, and workers' compensation arenas. Working as a nurse, since 1980, she has experienced major changes in the healthcare delivery system throughout her career. She holds a Masters and Bachelors degree in Health Administration, certification in Case Management, Black Belt in Six Sigma, and Legal Nurse Consulting, as well as her nursing degree. Her prior work experience includes management positions in rehabilitation services, health insurance, and case management.
She resides in Southern Indiana on seven picturesque acres with her husband, Michael a professional photographer. She loves spending time with her daughters and their families, which includes her two beautiful grandsons.
